A boat powered by salt water

In this project work, the task is to create a boat that will use ordinary salt water as fuel. Today, the future of the economy lies in resource-saving and energy-efficient technologies, primarily alternative fuels, such as salt water. The advantages of salt water as a biofuel are environmental friendliness, the most important factor that prevents environmental pollution from exhaust gases and products. The key issues in the development of the biofuel industry are the raw material base and technologies. Salt water fuel is not a toxic product. The use of salt water fuel increases the life of the engine due to the ease of use and operation in the form of conventional flushing of the engine with running water. This is due to the chemical composition of the fuel and its oxygen content. The traditional sources of fuel production from salt water in industry are salt and water. The experience of using salt water fuel shows that it is environmentally friendly. There is a European Commission regulation that by 2020 alternative energy sources should be used for at least 10% of vehicles, including in shipbuilding. From the point of view of commercialization, the production of ships and steamers powered by salt water fuel is a fairly profitable business. Thus, when organizing the production of ships and steamers powered by salt water fuel in the world, it will be possible to preserve the disappearing reserves of fuel resources. Against this background, the state of the environment and the General level of health of the population will improve. Such alternative energy technology can make fuel ships obsolete, since it is much more efficient and environmentally friendly than traditional fuel. Currently, there is an alternative to a salt-water boat – the “Quant e-Sportlimousine” – a powerful car that uses salt water as fuel, which was recently certified for driving on European roads. In addition, Japan has created an engine that runs on salt water. This type of fuel is used by a Japanese inventor’s scooter. Masahide Ichikawa developed a unique system at home that mixes pure sodium and water. As a result of the chemical reaction, a combustible gas is released, the volume of which is sufficient for the movement of the vehicle. The scooter has a special water tank. Sodium gradually gets there and as a result of the reaction, hydrogen gas is formed. It inflates a special pipe and when a certain level is reached, the mechanism automatically turns off, and the scooter can go.
